Expanded Expertise, Deeper Insight: Clinical Supply Leader Welcomes Two New Advisors

One of the things I appreciate about our industry is the depth and breadth of expertise it encompasses – more than any one person is likely to master. The good news is, it’s filled with professionals who collectively can. That's one of the reasons we built the Clinical Supply Leader Editorial Advisory Board.

In July 2026, we announced the inaugural board members, selected for their distinct yet connected perspectives to identify emerging clinical supply issues, inform content development, and enrich industry dialogue. I’m now delighted to add Éamonn McArdle and Juan Hernandez to this growing group, further broadening the knowledge and insight it represents.

McArdle brings a specialized combination of pharmacy expertise and clinical supply chain leadership, overseeing the strategy, planning, and execution of clinical trial supply across global development programs. Hernandez is an accomplished global supply chain executive with more than 25 years of experience leading both clinical and commercial supply chains. His expertise spans forecasting, supply planning, distribution, logistics, vendor management, and supply chain strategy.

What excites me most about these additions is not only the experience they bring individually, but how it complements the mix of perspectives already represented by the board. Together, these views provide a valuable reality check on the challenges, opportunities, and trends shaping the clinical supply industry.

Beyond guiding our content and conversations, advisory board members act as ambassadors for Clinical Supply Leader, keeping us connected to the people and community we serve. Their support, advocacy, and willingness to share their expertise help ensure we’re asking the right questions and focusing on the issues that matter most.
